Art Practical: Abstract Painting – One Approach

Ever wanted to create an Abstract Painting? Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience, this short course programme will introduce you to a structured way to approach abstract art. Although the course is very much practical and hands-on, we will prepare by looking at the roots of the Abstract Art movement and its historical social context. Suitably informed and inspired, we will move on to begin a step-by-step process to develop ideas and begin painting. Your experienced tutor will support you throughout. By the end of the course, you will have a greater understanding of what we mean by the term abstract art and have created your own abstract acrylic painting. A great short course to get inspired and get started on your abstract painting journey.
