Multiply: Candle & Beauty Treatment Making

In this introductory course, you will learn the skills needed to produce an aromatic candle and a lip balm, using correctly weighed and measured resources to produce handmade items, tailored to you personally. You will build on and expand existing maths skills to accurately combine ingredients, correctly balance the percentage of each element, working out how to increase or decrease the ingredients needed to do this and create safe products to take home. This course is designed for you to develop your creative side and have a go at developing different clay hand-building techniques, plus a chance explore the different decorative styles working with Clay. By the end of the course you should have lots of different pottery pieces and different pottery skills. You will be in a group with others and led by a talented Arts and Crafts tutor.
