This Employability Skills Course, tailored for JobCentre claimants with limited English proficiency and minimal work experience, is a comprehensive 10-hour program. It delves into critical skills such as effective communication, CV writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation. The course is designed with non-native English speakers in mind, focusing on practical, real-world scenarios. Digital literacy, a key component, is emphasized to aid in online job searches and applications.
Upon completion, participants will be well-equipped to navigate the job market. Progression opportunities include advanced interview preparation courses, further learning in Digital Skills, and targeted English and Maths courses to strengthen language and numerical skills.
