Delivered in an engaging manner with practical activities and plenty of support from your tutor, these courses will give you the tools and motivation to get your job search started.

CV & Cover Letter Writing: in this course you will learn about the key elements of a CV and be given a structure to follow to create your own. You will learn about the type of personal information you should include, how to present your previous education, work experience and key skills, as well as how to write a personal statement or covering letter which is relevant to the job/s you wish to apply for.

Digital Skills for Job Hunting: will develop your confidence with digital skills. You learn which skills and applications will be most useful and how to use them effectively when job hunting. You will cover how to use the internet safely as a job–finding tool, an awareness of potential scams and some useful sites to help you begin your search.

Applying for Jobs in the UK: our final course of the day will focus on the application process and how to present yourself, highlighting your skills to best advantage. We’ll consider online application forms and the preparation required to complete them with confidence. By the end of the programme, you will have the tools you need to help you move towards gaining your ideal job.
