Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.

Course description
This distance learning course, using face to face online sessions using canvas the WEA's online learning platform, and is for anyone who wants to develop teaching skills and explore the roles and responsibilities of those in adult education. There is a skills check for the L3 Award in Education & Training course, our skills check is not a test, it is a way for us to help you start at the right place
This course will prepare learners to develop their knowledge and confidence in negativing Canvas, which is the WEA's online learning platform. You will build confidence in knowing how to complete and upload assignments, take part in group discussions, present work in a variety of formats and much more. On this course you will gain understanding of the elements involved within the level 3 award in education and training. Explore the roles and responsibilities, of teachers, tutors and trainer roles and discover how you can use this qualification to support your search for employment or higher qualifications.
