Craft: Printing Without a Press
This course will show you that, even if you have no previous knowledge of printing and no printing press, that it is still possible to print images onto both paper and fabric using a variety of items and techniques. These will include printing with natural as well as found objects, making and using printing blocks from craft foam and how to use stencils, both commercial ones and ones you make yourself. You will learn how to choose the right paint to print onto paper and fabric. You will have an understanding of different printing terms such as Intaglio and Relief. Discover what Tetra Pak and how to use it for printing. Help and guidance will be given throughout the course by our experienced tutor who will demonstrate the techniques you will learn.

Craft: Printing From Nature
There are many natural objects that can be used to print images onto paper and fabric. You will have an opportunity to forage in the garden for foliage and other objects to print with. You will gain an understanding of a printing technique as well as some colour theory and the different types of paint that can be used for printing on both paper and fabric plus how to apply the paint to the object to print from.
This course is suitable for all levels of learners with no prior experience necessary. This course will provide you with the skills to produce some unique prints using what you can find in the natural environment.

Craft: One Day Workshop making Paper Mache Pots
If you are looking for a fun, low cost, environmentally friendly way to make biodegradable pots for seedlings then this one-day workshop could be for you.
Paper mache has a long history of being used to make a variety of items and is the perfect method to make pots for seedlings whose roots may be damaged if taken out of the pot for planting as the paper-mache pot can be placed into the hole without removing the seedlings and the pot will degrade naturally over timey.
Come along to Growing Links wonderful garden just outside of Penzance to learn from our experienced craft tutor. This is one of three workshops we will be running art Growing Links.
