Take your reading skills to the next level with these ESOL classes. Feel comfortable reading and understanding different types of texts in English. Improved reading skills can make life in the UK easier for you. This ESOL entry 3 reading course builds on skills you learnt at entry 2. You’ll continue to expand your vocabulary and reading skills. This is an English course for adults. It is aimed at speakers of other languages. ESOL courses are divided into three areas: reading, writing, and speaking & listening. ESOL for Life in the UK helps lower level ESOL learners build the language and cultural knowledge needed to take part confidently in everyday life. The course introduces key UK services such as schools, healthcare and local councils, and explores common celebrations and public holidays. Learners develop simple language to talk about rights, responsibilities and daily routines. Activities include discussions, matching tasks, short texts and guided speaking practice. The course supports learners to describe personal experiences, understand how life in the UK works and communicate more independently in familiar situations.

This practical course helps you build confidence and develop key communication skills for job interviews. You will explore what employers look for, how to prepare effectively and how to present yourself with confidence. Through group discussions, role-play, and mock interviews, you will practise answering common questions and use positive body language. You will also learn how to join and take part in an online interview using Microsoft Teams.

This practical course helps you build essential digital skills for everyday life and work. You will gain confidence in using laptops and other digital devices, keeping devices updated, and applying basic security settings. You will also learn to create and manage documents using Word, access Microsoft 365, download apps safely and set up and use email effectively. The course also covers browsers, websites, and online safety, including recognising scams and protecting passwords. Finally, you will explore secure online transactions and payment methods, ensuring you can navigate the digital world safely and independently.

Beginners Language for Work (Entry 1) supports adults who want to develop basic English skills for everyday workplace communication. Learners build essential workplace vocabulary and practise using clear, simple English with colleagues, supervisors and customers.
