Develop confidence to write complex texts in English. This ESOL course teaches you how to write more clearly and use grammar correctly. Learn how to improve your writing skills in English and get the most out of living in the UK. This ESOL level 1 writing course builds on skills you learnt at entry 3. Understand how to write well-structured texts and use sophisticated vocabulary. This is an English course for adults. It is aimed at speakers of other languages. The course introduces essential skills such as recognising common digital symbols, understanding hardware components and using a keyboard and a mouse confidently. Learners will practise connecting devices securely to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and learn internet safety tips. With hands-on activities and clear guidance, this course builds confidence and prepares learners for further digital learning in a supportive environment.

Societal Norms and Culture in the UK introduces Entry 1–Entry 2 ESOL learners to everyday cultural expectations, social behaviours and key values that shape life in the UK. The course helps learners use simple English to take part in daily conversations, make small talk and ask for help in public places. Learners explore major UK celebrations, British values and common social behaviours such as queuing and punctuality. The course also supports learners to identify where to find help for personal safety, legal issues and community support. Activities focus on practical communication, cultural awareness and confidence in real‑life situations.

Learn basic communication skills with this ESOL speaking and listening course. This English course is for speakers of other languages. It will help you learn essential speaking and listening skills to be able to communicate in English. Entry 1 ESOL courses help people who are just starting to learn English. This course will help you gain confidence to speak about basic topics and understand core words. There are also reading and writing courses at this level.
