Do you get worried when you use computers or the internet or other digital technologies ? You want to learn digital skills but didn't know where to start ? If the answer is 'yes!' this is the course for you. This course is for learners with basic or no experience of digital technologies but who want to develop skills to use them in their everyday life . We will help you develop confidence while using laptops, smart phones, reading emails, news, word processing, using social media and more!

Course description

This course will guide you through a wide variety of engaging topics and tasks with a pace of progress that is comfortable for you. Class sizes are small and in addition to a knowledgeable and supportive tutor, you will support each other on your 'digital journey'.

You will use a laptop / smart phone throughout your course to complete many hands-on tasks designed to develop your digital skills and confidence, including;

1. Gathering information from the internet to assist with everyday activities and tasks

2. Setting up email and social media accounts to contact others and share information

3. Using online public services to access vital information

4.Keeping your devices and online communications safe and secure

Learn to use digital devices and gain essential digital skills for personal use. This beginner’s course is for anyone who wants to learn digital skills; so don’t worry if this is all new to you. Learn to use your phone or computer or laptop ,fill out online forms in this Digital Skills course. Understand how to take and upload pictures and search for information online. This digital skills training also teaches you how to safe understand online safety.

We don't want anything to stand in your way when it comes to bringing Adult learning within reach so if you need anything to support you to achieve your goals then speak to one of our education experts during your enrolment journey. Most of our courses are government funded but if you don't qualify or need.
