Course overview
Course description
Would you like to find out a bit more about ways to cope at home with your own Dementia, or with that of a loved one? You are not alone! Many people are living with Dementia and would like to find out ways to make life at home as supported and happy as possible. On this course you will find out about small changes or adaptations in the home that can really help to make life with Dementia easier and happier for those with Dementia and their carers. In this inclusive, supportive learning environment we shall be exploring small changes, and sharing our own experiences as well as learning from each other. Some of the suggestions will be ones that you might have already tried, but hopefully there will be a few that you think are worth having a go. We can share our thoughts and what has worked for us or not! I will signpost you to find further support services should you need them. This is a supportive session on the positive changes that can really help day to day.
