Course description
This course is ideal for parents interested in learning the skills and language of using money, budgeting, helping children with maths homework and understanding bills and other information about money.
You will learn the language and communication skills needed to understand what you are spending and to explain what how you want to use your money. You will also learn the skills and language needed to understand, discuss, and explain:
• Money and family budgeting
• Day-to-day practical situations like shopping, travel, and planning meals
• Bills and other documents about money
• Common everyday skills like measuring, weighing, and estimating, and
• How to make your money stretch a little bit further!
You will be helped to talk about different strategies and ideas about how to spend, save, and budget and learn from others.
Supported by a dedicated tutor this course is ideal for beginners who want to money to increase their skills, knowledge, confidence, and ability to understand and explain how they want to use their money.
For this online course, you will need to have a computer/ laptop / tablet, a stable internet connection and basic IT skills to attend the course.
