Art Practical: Art and About - Sketching and Watercolour in London Parks

Part of the WEA Art and About Festival 2024! Have you always been afraid to draw outside in public? This course will give you confidence to sketch outside with tips on how to draw quick sketches of moving people from location in London Parks starting in Regents’ Park Rose Garden; there will be sketching and watercolour demonstrations, combined with drawing theory, showing ways to use a variety of materials and different styles of drawing from thumb nail sketching to building up a final composition . Craft: Mindfulness Mandalas

We will look at ways to help you extend the lives of some of your much- loved clothes. You will be able to darn along with me if you would like to. I will show you the traditional technique, then you can perfect it in your own time. I shall demonstrate on a small hole, and a larger one, the technique is the same on both.
