It is suitable if you are new to job‑seeking, returning to work, or want to improve your confidence with applications. During the session, you will learn what a CV is for and what employers look for. You will be guided to create a simple CV or improve one you already have, using your skills, experience, and interests. Support is available at every stage, and activities are broken down into clear, manageable steps. You will also try basic job‑search tasks, such as looking at job adverts and identifying what skills employers want. You will have the chance to practise answering simple interview questions, helping you feel more confident talking about yourself in a positive way. By the end of the course, you will leave with a clearer CV, increased confidence, and practical knowledge to help you move closer to employment or further training.

This course is course designed for adults with little or no experience using technology. Learners will explore the basics of digital devices. The course introduces essential skills such as recognising common digital symbols, understanding hardware components and using a keyboard and a mouse confidently. Learners will practise connecting devices securely to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and learn internet safety tips. With hands-on activities and clear guidance, this course builds confidence and prepares learners for further digital learning in a supportive environment.

You will take part in activities such as group discussions, goal setting, role play, and simple planning tasks. Step by step, you will build your confidence, share experiences, and celebrate your progress in a safe and encouraging environment. This course is designed to help you prepare for the UK driving theory test in a practical way. The course focuses on building knowledge of the Highway Code, road signs, and driving rules while developing the English vocabulary needed to understand and answer test questions. By the end of the course, you will have gained confidence, improved understanding of road safety, and developed the skills needed to progress successfully to the theory test.
