This is a new ESOL course aimed for beginner ESOL learners, offering them a friendly and safe online environment to practise speaking and listening in English in order to gain more confidence in their day to day lives. The course offers a virtual 'conversation cafe' where learners are taught by an experience qualified tutor who will guide them and help them build their English skills. The course is on Tuesday and Friday 9.30am - 12pm. This is a place where learners can make mistakes and work together to improve their English language skills at whatever pace they need.

The exam is designed to help people who want to study or work where English is the native language (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand). This intermediate to advanced course will help you to communicate your ideas in English on a range of everyday topics. You will practice reading, writing, speaking and listening, with a focus on conversation skills. You will also learn new vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, and start to learn about basic English grammar, including present, future and past tenses as well as present perfect. You will work with other learners at a similar level and be expected to take part in pair and group activities in the classroom. This course is ideal for English Language learners with some level of confidence and experience in speaking and understanding English. You will be in a mixed group of intermediate to advanced learners and will have the opportunity to practice your English in a number of different situations.

Do you want to learn English online? Studying online is an easy and effective way to learn. This online ESOL conversation class will give you a great chance to practice your English speaking and listening skills in a relaxed, informal online setting. You’ll learn everything you need to know to get the most out of your online studies. This course is aimed at English learners. The explanations will be given in plain, simple English and your tutor will help you understand the content. There will be 2 face to face sessions at a venue which is to be confirmed. This is a chance to improve your English communication skills and also build your digital confidence working online.

This course will help you develop a more experimental approach to working with watercolour; specifically, how to create different textures and explore personal ways in making images. It will follow on from previous courses but can be enjoyed as a single course for both beginners and those with more experience. We will be adding things like pigment placers, playing with additives, building interesting shapes using collage, and ways of mixing wax media with watercolour to create imaginative and spontaneous imagery. Although subject matter will be provided, you will be encouraged to use a range of resources (digital, from magazines, from your own sketches) as motifs and ideas for the artwork.
