Maths for Everyday Life

This course is funded by the Department for Education and only open to residents living in non devolved authorities. Maths for Everyday Life is a practical, supportive course designed for Entry Level learners who want to build confidence in using maths in daily situations. Across 12 sessions, you will develop essential numeracy skills through real-life contexts such as shopping, budgeting, understanding simple bills, time and basic measurement. The course introduces simple fractions (e.g. ½, ¼) and basic percentages (e.g. 50%, 25%) in familiar situations. You will also learn to read and interpret simple timetables, such as daily routines or basic transport times.
