This practical and confidence‑building course introduces you to the valuable life skill of making do and mending, helping you to repair, reuse, and extend the life of everyday items. Rooted in sustainability and self‑reliance, the course encourages you to save money, reduce waste, and feel more confident tackling simple repairs at home. Through hands‑on, tutor‑led activities, you will explore basic techniques such as simple sewing repairs, mending clothes, replacing buttons, fixing small tears, and adapting items for reuse. Art and About: Art in Olympic (South) Park

This course is an online talk (first session) followed by a guided walk on the second session. The online talk on Art in Olympic (South) Park will cover the design of Olympic Park as the first to integrate artworks into the landscape right from the start by established and emerging artists, international and local, which reflects the Park’s identity. And how the Olympic Stadium became home to West Ham’s Football Stadium and its players.
