In this friendly and informal class, you will improve your English speaking skills. It is aimed at beginners or those with very little English. You will practise English speaking for everyday situations like health, travel, work and shopping.
It will improve your confidence and help you to become more independent. It will also get you started with some basic digital skills for communicating online. The tutor will help you to access learning activities in class and online and you will be able to work with others to practise your conversation skills.
After you have completed this course, you can move on to an ESOL course to work towards qualifications in English reading, writing, speaking & listening. You can also move on to a beginners’ digital skills course.
Please note that you’ll need an internet connection to study this English course for beginners. This is so you can access our digital learning platform, Canvas. We use Canvas for homework, and also for tasks and activities in the classroom.
