Supporting neurodiverse children with Maths - Primary (Aberdeenshire)

Empower Your Child’s Math Journey!

This session is designed to support you as a parent or carer in helping your neurodiverse child with Maths.

We understand that every child learns differently, and that Maths can sometimes feel overwhelming—for both children and adults. That’s why this workshop offers practical, friendly guidance to help make Maths a more positive and accessible experience at home.

What to expect:

  • Supportive strategies tailored to neurodiverse learners
  • Recommendations for helpful resources—and how to use them
  • Practical tips to build confidence and engagement with Maths
  • A focus on small, achievable steps that can make a big difference

You’ll also receive access to all learning materials after the session, so you can continue supporting your child beyond the workshop.

Eligibility for the Courses

The courses are free to anyone who is 19+; who lives, works or volunteers in Aberdeenshire and who does NOT have a NAT 5 C / Intermediate 2 / Standard Grade Credit or above (or equivalent). The courses are funded from a UK wide government project named Multiply; the funds we have for this project were allocated to us by Aberdeenshire council.
