If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can make a complaint to us: we will investigate and respond back to you.
Making a complaint
If you have a complaint about how we have handled your data, please email us at [email protected].
Please provide as much detail as possible about your complaint.
What happens next
Once you have submitted a complaint, we will acknowledge receipt within 30 days.
Please note that identification may be required if it is unclear who is making the request, or if you are acting on behalf of someone else, we will need to check that you are authorised to do so.
Investigation and outcome
An investigation into the complaint will take place without undue delay.
If further clarification or more time is required, you will be notified.
Once the investigation has been completed, you will be notified of the outcome without undue delay.
If you don’t feel that the WEA has responded to your complaint in a satisfactory manner, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
