Confidence Building is a friendly, supportive course designed to help you feel more confident in everyday life and work. You will explore self-belief, communication skills, and practical ways to manage nerves and negative thinking. The course can be tailored to your goals—whether you are returning to work, preparing for interviews, starting a small business, or wanting to improve your self-esteem. You will take part in activities such as group discussions, goal setting, role play, and simple planning tasks. Step by step, you will build your confidence, share experiences, and celebrate your progress in a safe and encouraging environment. By the end of the course, you will leave with practical skills and a personal action plan to help you take your next steps.

Maths for Work Readiness is a practical Entry 3 course designed to help learners develop the numeracy skills needed for employment and workplace settings. Over 12 sessions, learners will strengthen skills in number, money, time, measurement and data handling through real-life work-related scenarios. Activities focus on tasks such as calculating wages, understanding payslips, managing budgets, measuring materials, reading timetables and interpreting basic workplace information. Delivered in a supportive environment, the course builds confidence and independence. By the end of the course, learners will feel more prepared to apply maths skills in employment, training and further accredited study

You will learn how to use your smartphone, tablet or computer to communicate professionally using email and workplace messaging tools such as Teams. The course will also show you how to stay safe online by creating secure passwords and recognising trusted websites. You will practise organising important documents, such as certificates, and sharing them correctly. In addition, you will develop your ability to research workplace information independently. By the end of the course, you will feel more confident using digital tools for communication and completing tasks in a work environment.

This five-day course equips learners with the essential skills, confidence, and mindset required to prepare to enter the workplace. Through interactive sessions, learners will explore employer expectations, communication techniques, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving strategies. The course enables learners to develop confidence in speaking up, taking initiative, and performing under pressure. Digital skills and leadership capabilities are also introduced to prepare learners for modern working environments. By the end of the course, learners will have applied their knowledge in a realistic workplace simulation and developed a personalised action plan to support their future career progression.

You will explore everyday workplace rights such as pay, breaks, holiday and contracts, using real-life examples to help build your confidence. The second session looks at staying safe and being treated fairly, including health and safety, equality, and discrimination. You will also focus on what to do if something goes wrong at work and who can help.

Maths for Work and Study is a practical essential skills course at Level 1 designed to strengthen everyday mathematical understanding for employment and further study. The programme develops confidence in using numbers, measures and data in real-life situations. Learners will build skills in calculations with whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages, as well as working with time, money, ratio, area and interpreting charts and tables. Sessions are contextualised to workplace and study scenarios such as budgeting, understanding wages, measuring accurately, and analysing information. The course supports learners to improve accuracy, reasoning and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment.

This course helps you understand your mental health and learn simple, practical ways to look after yourself. You will explore what mental health means using clear NHS guidance, and you will talk about common issues like stress, anxiety, and low mood. You will try easy self help tools such as breathing exercises, grounding techniques, and short wellbeing activities recommended by the NHS. You will also learn how to spot early warning signs, choose small everyday actions that improve your mood, and find safe, trusted sources of support. By the end of the course, you will feel more confident using practical skills to manage your own mental health.

You will explore everyday situations that can cause problems at work, such as making a mistake, not understanding instructions or needing help. You will learn how to stay calm and communicate respectfully. You will practise responding to problems in a positive way. The course ends with a supportive workplace scenario, allowing you to demonstrate your learning and build confidence for starting or returning to work.
