This course is funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority and is only available to residents living within the West Midlands Combined Authority area. Maths for Work Readiness is a practical Entry 3 course designed to help learners develop the numeracy skills needed for employment and workplace settings. Over 12 sessions, learners will strengthen skills in number, money, time, measurement and data handling through real-life work-related scenarios. Activities focus on tasks such as calculating wages, understanding payslips, managing budgets, measuring materials, reading timetables and interpreting basic workplace information. Delivered in a supportive environment, the course builds confidence and independence. By the end of the course, learners will feel more prepared to apply maths skills in employment, training and further accredited study

This course is course designed for adults with little or no experience using technology. Learners will explore the basics of digital devices. The course introduces essential skills such as recognising common digital symbols, understanding hardware components and using a keyboard and a mouse confidently. Learners will practise connecting devices securely to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and learn internet safety tips. With hands-on activities and clear guidance, this course builds confidence and prepares learners for further digital learning in a supportive environment.

Activities use pictures, real life objects and guided practice to help learners communicate in familiar situations. This course is ideal for learners who need reassurance, confidence building and a positive first step before progressing to an Entry 1 ESOL level course such as English For Everyday Life.

Conversating with Crafting is a 12 session course designed to help adult ESOL learners build confidence in speaking and listening while enjoying a range of simple, creative craft activities. Taught over 24 guided learning hours, the course offers a fun, low pressure way for learners to return to the classroom, practise everyday English and develop practical craft skills. Each session combines conversation, creativity and wellbeing, giving learners the chance to talk about materials, techniques and ideas while working on accessible craft projects. The focus is on communication, confidence building and enjoying the social, calming benefits of creative activity.
