Conversation with Crafting

This course is funded by the South Yorkshire Combined Authority and is only available to residents living within the South Yorkshire Combined Authority area. Conversating with Crafting is a 12 session course designed to help adult ESOL learners build confidence in speaking and listening while enjoying a range of simple, creative craft activities. Taught over 24 guided learning hours, the course offers a fun, low pressure way for learners to return to the classroom, practise everyday English and develop practical craft skills. Each session combines conversation, creativity and wellbeing, giving learners the chance to talk about materials, techniques and ideas while working on accessible craft projects. The focus is on communication, confidence building and enjoying the social, calming benefits of creative activity.

This Conversation with Baking course supports pre‑entry ESOL learners to build confidence in speaking and listening through fun, practical baking activities.
