Why learn maths as an adult?

No matter what job you have, you’ll use maths skills every day. Research shows having a functional skills maths level two qualification can help you earn more. Many jobs will ask you to have a maths GCSE, so these maths courses will open the door to new opportunities. Maths functional skills course at Level 2 is equivalent to a GCSE Grade C or Grade 4 in maths, employers and education providers should accept these as an alternative to a maths GCSE.

Entry Level Maths: Get Ready for Functional Skills E3 Maths

This course will be conducted face-to-face at the Dolphin Centre, located in Ward End, Birmingham. Please note that this course is exclusively open to women. Set yourself up for success at entry 3 functional skills in maths. This get ready course helps you prepare to tackle entry 3 maths with confidence. The essential maths skills you’ll learn will help you get your qualification and serve you in everyday life. Get ready courses help you learn maths at your own pace. The idea of this course is to give you extra study time to acquire the knowledge you’ll need for entry 3 maths. This is a preparatory maths course for people who are looking to progress to entry 3 functional skills courses. It is a non-accredited adult maths course. This course is funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority
