Course description
This Work Ready course will support you to develop the knowledge, skills, confidence, and behaviours needed to succeed in the workplace. If you feel unsure about starting work, need to build confidence, or want to improve your communication and teamwork skills, this course will help you take the next step. During the course, you will learn what employers expect, including punctuality, attitude, and communication. You will practise communication, listening to others, leadership skills and using digital tools in the workplace. You will also learn how to, manage your time, solve problems, and work as part of a team. All learning is practical and interactive, with activities including roleplay, discussions, and real-life scenarios to help you build confidence in a supportive environment. You will also create a personal action plan to help you move forward into employment, volunteering, or further learning. This course will help you feel more prepared, confident, and ready for work.
