On this course, you will learn to: Talk about yourself, your likes and dislikes, express opinions; Ask questions about personal information and opinions; Talk about everyday topics like, going to the doctor, going to the supermarket and getting around your city- for example, taking the bus; Use everyday vocabulary with input with pronunciation; Use the present tense to talk about what you do everyday, the past tense to talk about what you did before now and the future tense to talk about what you will do next week, next month. Before you can enroll on this course, you will do a skills check to make sure that you are on the right course. For the course, you will need an internet connection to study this course as you will need to access Canvas, our digital learning platform. This platform is used for homework, resources and classroom activities. You will need to use your phone in class to access Canvas and you should also bring a notebook and a pen/pencil to take notes. This is a great opportunity to get yourself 'on the books' with the WEA. Once enrolled you will have the opportunity to apply for a number of different ESOL / English and other courses. If you feel you want to practice your English in a relaxed and fun environment - please join us at the Crawley Library in February. We'd love to see you there. With thanks.
