From basic techniques to more advanced processes this course will guide you

through, step by step as you create your intricate dioramas and eye-catching

pop-up cards.

On this fulfilling creative course we will be working on building up our craft

skills and knowledge, for example:

History of dioramas

Creating depth and perspective

For this course you will need:

Cardstock in various colours

Cutting tools – scissors, craft knife if you have one

Adhesive – glue, tape

Assorted embellishments – stickers, ephemera pieces, sentiments etc

During each session you will have the chance to comment on your fellow

classmates work, give them feedback and receive feedback on your own work.

This sharing of ideas can be incredibly inspiring and instil confidence in

yourself and your creative work.

After completing this creative course, you will be able to design and make your own greeting cards with fun pop-up elements. You will also understand the principles and structure of dioramas and how these can be incorporated into your home-made greeting cards. You will be able to choose a theme, design and build the foundation and decorate with ephemera of your choice!
