Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.

Course description
This creative hand clay course allows you to explore your art and craft skills to find practices that you enjoy. Whether you like drawing, painting, origami, or craft-making, art courses can help you find a relaxing hobby. This creative hand clay course is ideal if you want to feel calm while developing your creativity skills up to an intermediate level. Learn the skills and techniques to produce your own clay pieces, explore the tools and materials needed and take inspiration from other creators, all whilst being guided by an experienced WEA tutor. Your artwork will be uploaded to Canvas (our digital learning platform) as evidence of learning. You will work in a group and will end up with your own pottery piece that you can take home. This course is a wonderful way to meet others, explore your creative side and build confidence at the same time. You will be with like minded people in a relaxed atmosphere and your tutor will ensure you are guided all the way to your final masterpiece!
