WEA recognised in Queen's
Birthday Honours
WEA volunteer Ivor Moon has been awarded an MBE as part of the Queens Birthday Honours for his voluntary service to adult education. Also receiving an award is WEA General Secretary, Richard Bolsin.

Immeasurable benefits More than just a qualification
Emma Snell left school with few good GCSEs. At 18, she was a mother of two, looking forward to a life on benefits. When the frustrations of being a stay-at-home mum began to rankle, she embarked on a learning journey and it has transformed her life.

Y&H Notice Board
This is our first go at an electronic newsletter for field staff, admin and finance staff and tutors.
The aim is to establish a regular newsletter allowing us, every couple of months, to share ideas, issues and good practice across the Yorkshire and Humber Region.
