Course description
Discover simple, practical ways of helping yourself reach a healthier, happier new you in this friendly class with a supportive tutor. Each week we will look at a different area where we can take small steps to improve our health and well-being, with practical tips to take away and try out in our daily lives.
These will include:
Stress - we will explore how stress can affect us mentally and physically and consider ways to help us reduce stress and its impact
Diet – how we eat can affect how we feel as well as our health, so we will look at some tips to help us make better food choices without breaking the bank
Confidence – feeling more confident helps us deal better with other events in our lives, so we will explore what confidence is and how we can boost our own self-confidence
Exercise – there are lots of ways to exercise without joining a gym! We’ll look at some simple, affordable ways to increase our activity levels and help us feel healthier and happier.
In the last session we will each put together a simple personal action plan to take away from the course to use in our daily lives.
