Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.
Advanced: Build on the solid experience and skills you have in this subject, applying your skills and knowledge in a more complex way.

Course description
This is an entry level numeracy course.
This course is based on face-to-face teaching in a classroom setting.
This is an adult maths course with a practical focus. You will have the opportunity to earn valuable badges and you will also receive a certificate upon course completion. This is useful if you are looking for a job.
For this course, you’ll also need an internet connection. This is so you can access our digital learning platform, Canvas.
Before you can enrol on this course, you’ll do an assessment. Don’t worry, this isn’t an exam. It’s for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level.
In addition to maths and numeracy; citizenship, employability and digital skills will also be embedded in the programme.
Assessment of learning will be done regularly throughout the course.
Information, advice and guidance will also be given to enable further course/professional progression.
