Course overview
Course description
Creating professional, easy-to-watch video content can make a huge difference in attracting viewers to social media/online content and holding their attention. Community organisations must compete with such a vast amount of online content to reach their target audience, so effective video editing is essential to create dynamic video content. We will look at basic principles of importing footage into a video editing package, editing and enhancing the video, and finally different formats for exporting the finished work for a variety of different purposes.
By the end of this course learners will be able to understand and put into practice the fundamentals of importing, editing and exporting digital video.
This course is suitable for complete beginners and those with some previous video editing experience. Our tutor will guide learners step-by-step through the process to create a video to meet the purpose of their community organisation.
This is a face to face in-venue course open to members of Washington Support Group for Men.
If you would like to progress further with your skills for employment, or as a volunteer, your tutor can discuss possible next steps for you to consider.
