Course overview

This course will help pre-entry ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) learners to start to learn about the English language and the essential skills they need to use it in their lives here in the UK and to help them on their journey towards work. This pre-entry ESOL course will teach you skills to communicate some basic ideas in English. Through a range of activities, you will develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The course will have an initial assessment at the start to identify that you are the right level to join the course.

Course description

The Pre-Entry ESOL course is designed to provide foundational language skills to individuals with limited English skills. Whether you are an absolute beginner or have some basic knowledge of English, this course will help you build a solid foundation for further language learning.

This course focuses on developing essential skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in fun and relaxed atmosphere .The learners will familiarise themselves with basic vocabulary (classroom instructions, personal information, family, etc), establish and develop the four main skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening) to progress towards Entry 1 Level.

Most of our courses are free for most of our learners. Please note that you need to get to the end of the enrolment process to see the discounts.

Most of our courses are government funded but if you don't qualify or need.
