We understand that being at risk of redundancy can be a difficult and emotional time. Community Union has partnered with the WEA to help you adjust and get through the process, free of charge.

To browse our courses, you can use the categories and subcategories from the drop down menus at the top of the page, or via the course search box. We have a range of skills courses that can help you get ready for a new job, or upskills for your current one.

When enrolling, please do this by telephone calling the WEA Support Services team on 0300 303 3464.

To ensure you can enrol on the course for free, you will need to tell the WEA Support Centre Assistant that you are a Community Union member and provide your membership number. We are taking this approach so that you are not charged a fee at the point of enrolment.

Skills for success

You may need more time to reflect and consider what next steps you need to take.

Working with Community Union, we've developed a programme to help you get back on track. These online workshops will support you to:

  • identify your own personal strengths and skills.
  • recognise the patterns of limiting beliefs and how to overcome these
  • build resilience and learn  how to manage change more effectively.
  • set realistic job goals
  • identify potential next steps to build on existing employability skills.

To book, email [email protected] with your name, email address, a contact telephone number and your Community membership number.
