The WEA was established in 1903 and has provided part time courses for adults for nearly 120 years.

Why are we different?

All of our courses are live and tutor-led, unlike other learning providers. We use platforms like Zoom and Canvas, to allow learners to work together, make new friends and get feedback on work.

"I liked the fact that I could do my work at home, when I wanted to. The tutor could comment on our work. We could see other people's work. there was time to speak on Zoom to others too".

Put your language skills to use and discover how to be a community interpreter, volunteer or mentor in your area.

Some courses will need an initial assessment to see if this course is right for you. See below to see if the course you are interested in needs an initial assessment.
