At the WEA we’ve been making good things happen since 1903. We are the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of adult education. We believe that all adults should have access to the opportunities provided by education. That’s why we provide Ofsted-assessed education for our students from all walks of life, right in the heart of their communities.

We want to grow and reach more students especially where opportunity is needed most in society. An exciting opportunity now exists for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our national team to develop and grow our grants and contracts work.

If you are ambitious, have a proven track record in developing and growing business, can secure new income, and enjoy building and maintaining relationships with a wide variety of partners, then we’d like to hear from you.

Working for a national charity you’ll work closely with the Head of Business Development, the Business Development Team, Regional Education Managers and their education teams.

We offer generous terms and conditions including 30 days holidays, plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time staff) and pension scheme – subject to eligibility.

To apply for this role, you will need to submit a covering letter (maximum of 2 pages) which details how you meet the requirements set out in the Job Description and Person Specification together with a summary CV. Covering letter and CV’s should be emailed to recruitment@wea.org.uk

If you are interested in this role, please apply as soon as possible as we reserve the right to close this vacancy early should sufficient applications be received.
