Background Information

Building Better Opportunities (BBO)

Big Lottery Fund is matching funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to invest in local projects tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth.

The WEA is an educational charity delivering responsive, relevant and accessible programmes of learning across England and Scotland. Through our vision of employability, health and wellbeing, community engagement and cultural studies, we raise the educational aspirations of local communities.

We are seeking to recruit a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for delivering Include IT Mersey Digital Inclusion Project activities covering Knowsley and Wirral areas within Liverpool City Region (LCR) and ensure that outputs and outcomes are met according to contract requirements.

The Include IT Mersey Building Better Opportunities project is an exciting collaboration that aims to meet the needs of people living in LCR, who remain the most digitally excluded from the workforce.

The post holder will be responsible for implementing the BBO project plan including engaging and working with individuals most digitally excluded.

The successful candidate is likely to have experience delivering one-to-one support, IT training and project management experience with excellent administrative skills.
