We are looking to recruit a Payroll assistant to support a busy team based in Nottingham, this role is available at an exciting time in the WEA’s development, as we strive to take the WEA on a journey to becoming an excellent provider of education for adults.
You will assist in all aspects of the Association’s payroll, pensions and expenses processing and administration.
The post-holder will ensure timely and accurate processing of the Payroll and expenses tasks and may be required to assist colleagues with general administrative support within the agreed procedures and with appropriate training.
The successful candidate will need to have previous payroll experience, along with excellent numeracy skills and a first-rate knowledge of payroll processing and legislation. You will have good organisational skills, along with the ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines.
Experience in working with Open Pay payroll and Open Accounts financial software is desirable.
