Summary description
The WEA needs a Management and Governance Officer with superpowers to co-ordinate the work of our busy educational charity.

Based in Cambridge, you’ll work closely with the Regional Education Manager, and with a range of stakeholders who are likely to include Association staff, our committee members, students, tutors and our volunteers. You’ll be great at communicating on different levels, and skilled at balancing priorities for a busy team.
You’ll provide essential support to our management and governance meetings, including the preparation of accurate minutes that clearly capture decisions to take the work of the Region forward. You’ll lead on communicating positively with our large network of voluntary members. You’ll be confident at using IT based systems to make things happen. You’ll understand Health and Safety and Safeguarding. Ideally you’ll have experience of work in a charity or in the education sector.

You’ll work in a great location in central Cambridge, and enjoy a generous holiday allowance.
