The WEA is an educational charity delivering responsive, relevant and accessible programmes of learning across England and Scotland. Through our vision of employability, health and wellbeing, community engagement and cultural studies, we raise the educational aspirations of local communities.
The post holder will be responsible for coordinating digital courses delivered by the WEA which are supported by Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) volunteers. This will include providing support and training for digital volunteers and WEA tutors working with volunteers, liaising with the regions and the education team to support the delivery of courses, co-ordinating the feedback and actively looking at ways of enhancing this volunteer workstream. They will also be responsible for the MI around this part of the project and for feeding information to the LBG Relationship Manager in time for the quarterly governance meetings. A key part of the role will be to identify relevant opportunities and to work with LBG to match volunteers to these courses. The role will also require the post holder to ensure that fit for purpose processes are in place and to actively promote the partnership internally and externally.
