We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Tutor who along with other staff will be responsible for the delivery of ICT with the East Midlands region.

The Workers’ Educational Association is a charity and the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of adult education. We are a charity with a strong sense of social purpose, dedicated to bringing great teaching into the heart of local communities. All our educational provision is developed with this in mind and our courses can be set up almost anywhere – for example in clubs, community centres, village halls, schools or where people work.

The region is seeking a Lead Tutor to re-shape and implement a progression pathway for ICT provision across the region, the role will support tutor line management, performance reviews, OTLA visits, curriculum development, contribution to SAR process. Currently, reporting into an Education Coordinator. You will be expected to teach and manage a tutor team, which will include carrying out all aspects of tutor management.  This role will require strong networking ability to build on local relationships which may lead to new opportunities for developing provision, along with employment or volunteering opportunities for our learners.
