The Workers’ Educational Association is a charity and the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of adult education. We are a charity with a strong sense of social purpose, dedicated to bringing great teaching into the heart of local communities. All our educational provision is developed with this in mind and our courses can be set up almost anywhere – for example in clubs, community centres, village halls, schools or where people work.
The main duties of this role include: carrying out initial language assessments and skills assessments; planning and delivering ESOL courses and preparing learners for exams. This role will require strong networking ability to build on local relationships which may lead to employment or volunteering opportunities for our learners.
