Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Education Coordinator. The Education Coordinator is responsible for the development, delivery and maintenance of a specified programme of educational provision with the focus on an outstanding student experience.

This role will be specialising in English, Maths & ESOL, so you will need to have teaching experience within this area.

Supporting and managing tutors to deliver outstanding educational provision, in addition you will have responsibility for local partnerships and for identifying potential business development opportunities in line with regional objectives.

You may have responsibility for identified specialist aspects of provision such as communications, quality or teaching. You will be expected to represent the WEA and promote both the Association and the value of adult education in their area.

We are looking for people who have experience in:

.practical ESOL teaching and have more of an understanding of the guidelines and protocols involved in teaching this subject

·community outreach/community development work

·organising educational provision in community settings

·working in partnership with community groups/organisations
