Building Better Opportunities (BBO)
Big Lottery Fund is matching funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to invest in local projects tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth.
The Workers’ Educational Association [WEA] is an educational charity delivering responsive, relevant and accessible programmes of learning across England and Scotland. Through our vision of employability, health and wellbeing, community engagement and cultural studies, we raise the educational aspirations of local communities.
We are seeking to recruit staff to join an ambitious team to deliver the BBO Working Well programme. The post holders will undertake core activities providing administrative and compliance support to the Project Manager on the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) Working Well project within the Carlisle & Eden area.
The successful candidates will need to have previous experience of project administration along with developing processes & procedures for project management and reporting. You will also have excellent IT and communications skills.
Experience of financial budgeting, forecasting & reporting is desirable for the Project Compliance Officer role.
We offer generous terms and conditions including 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension scheme – subject to eligibility. Please note holiday entitlement, including bank holidays is pro rata for part time posts.
