Summary description
We are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to lead an ambitious team to deliver the BBO promoting Digital Inclusion in Lancashire, called ReachIT.

This post is jointly funded by The Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund.

Big Lottery Fund is matching funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to invest in local projects tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth.

The Workers’ Educational Association [WEA] is an educational charity delivering responsive, relevant and accessible programmes of learning across England and Scotland. Through our vision of employability, health and wellbeing, community engagement and cultural studies, we raise the educational aspirations of local communities.

We are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to lead an ambitious team to deliver the BBO ReachIT programme promoting Digital Inclusion in Lancashire. The successful candidate will need to have experience of leading strategic development and developing new business opportunities.

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a core leadership team to drive forward delivery using our agreed core model and approach; and ensuring that delivery partners are clear on responsibilities and that strategic partners and the wider community is actively engaged. You will be responsible for ensuring completion of all the ESF/BL evidence requirements including impact measurement, collation of data and evidence to support final evaluation, and organising all project networks and meetings.

It is anticipated that the post holder will work closely with a range of stakeholders which are likely to include; Local Authority staff, community organisations, service providers (e.g. GPs, DWP, JCP) employers, WEA members, volunteers and staff. She/he will be expected to represent the WEA and promote both the Association and the value of adult education in relevant contexts.
