We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Education Coordinator to work on the Working Together for Work Project in Surrey and Croydon

A Building Better Opportunities initiative which is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund

The successful candidate will be coordinating the ‘Working Together for Work’ project on behalf of the WEA in East Surrey and Croydon. The candidate will need a good working knowledge of communities and networks in East Surrey and Croydon and the surrounding area and an understanding of the specific challenges faced by unemployed people living in the area. The candidate will need to work closely with other agencies to support individuals to access volunteering opportunities, employment and training. As part of the role the candidate will undertake outreach and recruitment of participants, 1:1 mentoring and organising engagement and training activities. As well as the ability to teach adults the candidate will need to be able to monitor progress, work to targets and work with data.

The project is a Building Better Opportunities initiative which is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund.

We offer generous terms and conditions including 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension scheme – subject to eligibility. Please note holiday entitlement, including bank holidays is pro rata for part time posts.
