Due to the current situation, all of our classes are taking place online, using Zoom and Canvas.

You can learn more about both of these below. To enrol onto a course (if you haven't already), just pop your postcode into the box at the bottom of the page!

What is Canvas?
Canvas is a learning area that allows teachers to run courses online, so you can take part in your lessons from a distance, as well as after the classroom session has ended.

You can access the WEA Canvas area by clicking here, but you will also receive an email inviting you to your course once you have enrolled.

Canvas can only be run in certain browsers, which means you might have problems if you are using Internet Explorer. To learn more about browsers, click here.

What is Zoom?
Zoom.us is a website/app that allows people to take part in virtual meetings and classes. By following a link or by entering the class information, you can join a classroom from the comfort of your own home.

Your tutor will provide a link to your online classroom, but you can read more about Zoom by clicking here

All of our classes are password protected, meaning you can learn in confidence without the fear of any interruptions.

Getting started on Zoom and Canvas:
We have created a handy video guide that covers all the steps to getting started on Zoom and Canvas - you can view the video playlist below, which talks you through the steps to getting into your course and starting your class. There are six short videos which play in order, or click the play icon in the top right hand corner of the video below:
