Welcome to your WEA summer term!
Classes this term are looking a little different from usual, while we are unable to continue with face-to-face teaching. But that certainly doesn’t mean everything has to stop altogether.
The WEA team have been working hard over the last few weeks to ensure that the learning you love can continue in a safe and accessible way, by moving classes online.
It has been a mammoth task to get classes scheduled and tutors trained ready for online delivery, and very soon we will be able to publish start dates for new classes this term.
We are pleased to announce that all online courses will be free for everyone. However, if you are in a position to do so, we are asking that you consider making a donation to help support our work in ensuring learning continues to reach those adults who are most vulnerable. If you have already enrolled for a summer term course, you will be contacted when that course moves online. You will be given the option of a refund of your course fee, a credit towards a future course, or to make a donation to the WEA. Please be aware that refunds are currently taking up to 4 weeks to process, due to the increased demand.
