The aim of the course is to help you develop your communication skills through practising a variety of speaking, listening, reading and writing activities that will promote your confidence to communicate in English in formal and informal situations.

This 6-week ESOL with Employability Skills course is designed for Entry 3 learners who are looking to improve their English language proficiency while gaining essential employability skills. The course is run face to face in a local venue with a fully qualified and experienced tutor. Welcome to our 21-hour, ‘Healthy Living’ course. This course is aimed at pre-entry ESOL students wishing to learn about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The course covers essential topics such as nutrition, exercise, hygiene, and mental well-being. Students will learn about healthy eating habits, the benefits of regular physical activity, and basic hygiene practices. Interactive activities include discussing simple cooking recipes , exercise routines, and discussions on how to manage stress and emotions. By the end of the course, students will understand the importance of healthy living and be able to make better choices for their physical and mental health.

Delivered by our experienced Permaculture tutor this course will introduce to the key concepts of Permaculture design whilst undertaking practical design tasks with our partner Community Roots who run a community supported agriculture project on the scenic North cliffs in Cornwall. This autism course can teach you how to offer support to help autistic young people live healthy and fulfilling lives. This taster course is ideal for you if you have regular contact with autistic children or teenagers. It is aimed at parents, family members, community workers, or volunteers who interact closely with autistic kids. It can be useful both if you are going through diagnosis, and also if you feel you need extra resources to help support a developing autistic child.

This course will look at the different stitches and patterns used to create beautiful blackwork samples. These can then be turned into pictures or sewn into various projects. Blackwork is a historical embroidery technique using aida or evenweave cloth, and it is characterised by its use of black thread on a white or light-coloured background.
