This is a foundation pre-entry level course which supports low level pre-entry ESOL learners who are not yet equipped with the basic English needed to start a pre-entry course. The course is part 1 of a 2-part course which will build the learners confidence in starting to learn the basics of English such as forming and writing the alphabet, the phonetic sounds required for basic reading and starting to use basic vocabulary. The course will enable learners to build their confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing and learning the basic study stills they need to be in the classroom as an adult.

This course is designed for learners who already have a basic understanding of Spanish (CEFR A1) and are looking to expand their skills and confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. By the end of the course, participants will be able to handle everyday situations with more ease and improve their ability to communicate in Spanish on a variety of familiar topics.

Trace the development of ‘Modern Art’ from the beginnings with Cezanne, through the revolutions of Picasso and Mondrian, to the British artists such as Tracy Emin and Antony Gormley. Discuss whether ‘found art’ such as Duchamp’s ‘Fountain’ or Tracy Emin’s ‘My Bed’ are really art at all. Examine the importance of modern art galleries. Understand the contexts and the development which have influenced art in the twentieth century.

This is a great way to start the week if you like doing exercise, dancing and having fun. Keep fit and exercise with a fun and feelgood hour of music and movement and relaxation. Each session you will work on: - breathing exercises - simple stretching (to get warmed up & alert) - easy aerobic sequences - basic CONTEMPORARY MODERN dance moves (to incorporate into an uplifting song)
