WEA courses

This is a pre-entry/ entry level course which supports low level ESOL learners to build their ESOL skills in relation to work and wellbeing here in the UK. Learners will learn through the main ESOL skills speaking, listening, reading and writing in tailored to the topic of work and wellbeing. The course will enable learners to build their confidence towards working in the UK and also towards activities that are good for their overall wellbeing. The course is unaccredited and is for nine weeks. It will be ran face to face by a qualified and experienced tutor.

This course is for women only. It will be held at the Dolphin Women's Centre, Washwood Heath, Birmingham and is an ESOL course for learners at Entry Level 1. The course will help you to develop your basic speaking and listening, skills in English. This is an English course aimed at adults for whom English is not their first language. You will get lots of opportuntities to practice your new English skills in groups and individually, you will also be given homework tasks so you can continue to practice at home..
